Shut Down the War Machine is having a "calling in sick of the war" day for all students and workers, Friday October 26, 2007. Nation-wide here in the U.S., protests and picket lines are picking up, and students and workers are going to "call in sick of the war." Show your support and tell the people of October26.org that you are protesting along with them. Rally up some troops and promote the protest so more and more people participate. Go to the site and print out leaflets, posters, signs etc.... As I have posted before the extent of damage caused by the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, many have been murdered by the thousands, maimed, raped and tortured. It is of the up most importance that we do all we can to stop this unjust war. Not much more can be said to help convince you of the horrors that go on in these countries. But images work. So to the right are a collection of GRAPHIC images. Be warned, although they are censored, they are still graphic. Help your siblings in Iraq, they are dying, and it is this nation that is murdering them.

On October 26^th, call in “sick of the war” to your school or work. Do not shop whatsoever. Hold protests/ gatherings/ boycotts on your own with your union/ affiliation/ club/ group/ crew. Hand out flyers and leaflets and let everyone you know about the protest.

No More War is dedicated to stopping wars around the globe, starting with the Iraq war. This blog will promote protests, rallies, boycotts, strikes and more. The first protest to be promoted will be the "Shutting Down The Machine" protest against the Iraq war. Friday, October 26th 2007, nation-wide in the United States, No Work, No School, No Shopping, No War! This protest is essentially being run by October1.org, but many organizations, unions, alliances, and other affiliations are joining the cause. We must all do our parts to promote the protest as much as we can. You can start by going to the site and letting them know you plan on joining the cause. Pass out fliers, leaflets, brochures, and signs that can all be found on the site or here later on. SPREAD THE WORD! This site will be containing, brochures, signs, leaflets, stencils and sayings later on. This site will contain information on this protest and then others. Go to October1.org and commit!
